Getting Started

Before you schedule painters please be sure to check in with the Architectural Enforcement Committee (AEC) to ensure your desired paint color is approved for use in Lake Forest.  Our Protective Covenants and Deed Restrictions require "earth tone" colors to be used in Lake Forest, and also require the AEC to review and approve exterior changes.  Picking from our approved palette will put your project on the fast track for approval.

The AEC would be happy to deliver a set of  swatches for the approved paint palette upon request.  Please contact the AEC via aec@lfloa.org if you would like to take advantage of this service.

If you don't see a suitable color on the palette and have another "earth tone" color you'd like to submit for approval, that's no problem.  However, the approval process will take more time, and there is always the possibility that the AEC will decline to approve the color.
